Soup Kitchen Team Leader
The team leader plans the meal (after checking the church pantry) and contacts team members to remind them of their day to serve. On the day to serve, the team leader is in charge of assigning duties to each member. Duties include setting the tables, preparing drinks, cooking, cleaning, etc.

At the beginning of each year, the team leader will receive a list of Saturday dates you will serve for the entire year.  As of 2008, we have thirteen teams. You will serve once every thirteen weeks. If you are unable to serve on your designated week, we ask that you contact the team leader in advance so that a substitute can be located. The church provides the food to be prepared and served. The actual serving time is noon until 1:00 p.m. However, you are required to come earlier in order to set the tables and prepare the meal.

Typically teams arrive around 10:00 a.m. and are walking out the door around 1:30 p.m. Anyone interested in joining a team or becoming a team leader should contact Katrin Ohlemacher at (812) 207-9696.
