             Senior Pastor:  Rev. Dr. John E. Manzo

Rev. Dr. John E. Manzo has served as the Senior Pastor of St. Marks since March of 2002.  Previously, he has served as the Senior Pastor at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Wapakoneta, Ohio, Trinity United Church of Christ In Millersburg, Pennsylvania, and Christ Reformed Church, United Church of Christ, In Alexandria, Pennsylvania. 

John grew up in New Jersey, having lived in Bergenfield, Brick Township, and Flanders, New Jersey.  He graduated from Wadhams Hall Seminary College in 1977 with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, and from Darlington School of Theology, now at Seton Hall University, in 1980.  Choosing not to be ordained into the Roman Catholic priesthood, John was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1983.  He later attended Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1993.

 

John is married to Janet since 1982 and has two daughters, Danielle and Michelle.    His family is delighted to be a part of the St. Marks family of faith.

 

 

Associate Pastor:  Rev. Lori Lewis

      Rev. Lori Lewis, Associate Pastor, first began at St. Marks in 1990 and worked for 8 years as the full time Associate Pastor with an emphasis on youth work.  After taking a number of years off to stay home with her two boys, she returned in July, 2003 to a new, part-time Associate Pastor position working primarily with Senior Adults.

Lori grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Princeton Junction, New Jersey.  She graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and from the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis  with a Masters of Divinity Degree.  A lifelong member of the United Church of Christ, Lori was ordained into the ministry in the United Church of Christ in 1991.

Lori has been married to Todd since 1987 and they have two sons, Joshua and Zachary.  Lori enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends.  She feels very fortunate and has said, "I feel like I have it all, getting to do the ministry that I love and being home by the time the boys get off the school bus."
